Today we went up to the Milne’s for the 7th annual Tube Race. Jack is still a little young to chase after in the water, so we watched from the shore. Check out the photos - looks like hard work, I guess we will start training now

These photos are a few weeks old, but at the end of July we went down to LA to spend the weekend with the Sauer Family. Kaitlin and Jack had a great time playing with each other. We went to a great Kid’s Museum in Pasadena called kidspace. As you will see in the photos there was a lot of water involved, which was great considering the 100 + degree weather that weekend. We spent the afternoon add Dave and Lorin’s living the good life pool-side. Jack and Elena had a blast. Here are the photos.

So I finally spent big and bought a digital SLR this weekend, can not believe that I waited as long as I did. This thing (Nikon D70) is completely awesome - takes great pictures and in rapid succession which is key for trying to catch Jack on film! Saturday was Brendan’s 1st birthday party so i took the D70 along for a full field test - I took over 300 shots. I have posted a few of the photos here, be sure to take a look. The biggest issue I think I will have moving forward is that I can take so many shots in one outing, that the task of filtering them when I get home will be monumental.
