Today we went to Moore’s third birthday party. Cake, beer and a jumpy house — what more could someone want.

Today we went down to the park and play a little soccer. Granted Jack and his buddies are all about two years old, so the goal of an “organized” sporting activity is noble to say the least. Alas, there was not a lot of ball kicking to be had, but as the pictures show everyone still had a really good time.

The last stop on our trip was Dubuque. We came primarily for Sara’s wedding, but also to see the rest of the family. Based on Julie’s recommendation, we stayed at the Grand Harbor, which has a waterpark attached. Jack and Jean had a blast going down the water slides and playing in the pools. Our last night here 21 of us went on a dinner cruise down the Mississippi. Jack had been asking to go on a boat since Miami so he was happy to be out on the water. We even got to go through one of the Locks on the river which was a first for most of us.
