Hot on the heels of our trip to San Simeon, we went camping up at Little Basin. This is HP’s private campground up in the mountains near Big Basin. We were with a big group so Jack had plenty of people to interact with, including his cousin Morgan. Pictures
We went camping down at San Simeon for a long weekend. This was our first camping trip of the year and I was really bummed it took this long for us to get our act together, although my travel has been the biggest problem. Moore and Moore came down for part of the trip — this was little Moore’s first camping trip ever. He really enjoyed the trip and looks to be a life long camper in the making. Jack really enjoyed playing in the ocean, but boy was it cold! Link to the pictures. This is a little video of Jack running away from the waves.
We flew out to Colorado this summer to visit Grandma up in Alma and Ren and Kathy in Castle Rock. We had great weather during the week and Jack had a blast. See the photos.
Jack is learning the time honored tradition of building forts with the cushions of living-room furniture. Given the heat, it has been a challenge to find entertaining things to do inside for long periods of time. Check out the photos.
